ND Riot is a passion project of Joe Christy, Matt Christy, and Stephen Fox. Their collected excitement for the independent art scene, and experience as creatives within that community, inspired them to create a platform whose purpose would be to integrate and elevate indy artists across comics, fiction, poetry, and other mediums.
Distributed quarterly (approximately), ND Riot is a digital, web, and physical magazine celebrating a variety of contributors across a variety of storytelling mediums.
Currently, as of October 2024, ND Riot is not a profitable endeavor. As a result, we rely on a combination of volunteered and submitted content. Submissions are encouraged (click here for parameters), but require a $3 fee which offsets hosting, print, labor and other costs.
